Di tengah pembuatan proyek besar yang harus selesai bulan Februari ini, iseng-iseng ikutan CAL di FB Thalenta untuk bulan Januari 2012. Polanya diambil dari buku Pernak Pernik Rajutan. Ini buat bantalan jarum berbentuk bunga. Karena gak ada dakron terpaksa diisi kapas :)))

Kalo yang ini Hoodie Jacket yang dikerjakan dalam dua hari aja (termasuk cepat buatku :D). Polanya modifikasi dari free pattern . Di ujung lengan dan bagian bawah jaket aku kasih edging fpdc dan bpdc biar gak terlalu lebar .

Yesterday i made some dishcloth,2 actually, to compare between crochet and tunisian technique.

Here they are:

Crochetted Basket weave

Fpdc (Front Post Double Crochet) and Bpdc (Back Post double crochet) is used to make this motif.

Tunisian Basket weave

The motif consist of TKS ( tunisian Knit stitch ) and TPS ( tunisian Purl stitch).

Hmm, next project would be knitted dishcloth.....

This time, i made granny jacket again. Ferika, my friend in Yogyakarta, asked me to make a jacket for her daugter. I made from original pattern and some addition in the lower jacket and wrist part with some granny squares .
I used my fav yarn : softy cotton, the texture is soft and light. And also hook no 6.

Since i had injured in my left forefinger last wednesday, i couldn't do any crocheting for a week. The good news is i can do knitting because it don't use forefinger . I made this shawl with English style and 4,5 mm knitting needles.

Look at the yarn.. The motifs come from the color of the yarn..Love it!

5 days Challenge in Dinamic Crochet

I joined the 5 days challenge to crochet/knit in Dinamic Crochet Community. I had to finish 1 project per day which chosen by moderator.

Day 1 : Baby/Toddler Hat

I made a purple hat with flower on it. The hat is suitable for 1-2 years old . I used ICTS yarn and hook no 5.

Day 2 : Keychain

I had no idea to make a keychain. I just made a bell and some round thing with beads on it.

Day 3 : Purse

The Long Stripe ICT color is fascinating so I made this coin purse with it. The frontside made with Tunisian Simple Stitch technique and the backside made with Double Crochet technique

Day 4 : Bandana

For the 4th day i made bandana with variegated Ribbon Yarn. I used Tunisian Simple Stitch technique to make the bandana and flower on it.

Day 5 : Blue Scarf

In the last day, the moderator gave 3 patterns . We had to choose 1 pattern and modify it. I chose the scarf with this beautiful motifs. Unfortunately, I could't modify it since i had some troubles. Overall, I satisfied with the result.

Brown Bag

My friend ordered a bag in dark color. When i saw the brown Softy Cotton yarn, I thought it will suitable for her with gold color in the center of the granny square. I made 8 granny squares, 4 square are in the frontside and another 4 are in the backside of the bag..

I learned to make lining inside the bag. I chose cotton fabric for the lining. First, i sew the zipper to the fabric with sewing machine and then i sew it to the body of bag by hand.

Made from Thalenta's Rayon Cotton Variegated and Thalenta's Rayon Cotton Plain. To make rich look i hold two strands of the yarn together in making of the upper and below squares. The pullover suitable for 6-8 years old child.

This is my latest work for bandana. My friend's daughter love to wear it so she insisted me to make it again . This time i try to make Tunisian Knit Stitch in it. You can see the detail below.

First row i use Tunisian Knit Stitch , in the middle i change the color and the stitch into Tunisian Purl Stitch..And in the row 25th i use Tunisian Knit Stitch again..The difference of the stitches is lovely..I like it. Bandana yang dibuat dengan teknik knitting ini pesanan teman untuk keponakannya..Pengerjaannya 2 hari dengan benang katun lokal warna pink dan SPN 5 mm. Rencananya sih memakai SPN 4,5 mm tapi karena panjangnya hanya 20 cm ya terpaksa pakai yang ada. Jadinya memang lubangnya besar-besar.

Pembuatan bandana ini juga sekalian belajar membuat knit (K) lebih rapi. Sayangnya belum terlalu rapi :(. Malu sebenarnya sama si pemesan tapi dia ok aja ya monggo kerso..Lain kali harus bikin yang lebih baik lagi

Setelah perjuangan panjang tas ini bisa juga diselesaikan..*lebay*. Ya bagaimana lagi ,soalnya baru pertama kali in bikin tas dengan Tunisian. Untuk memecahkan polanya aja butuh 3 hari he..he.. dicoba gini kok gak sama dengan fotonya..dicoba gitu kok sama aja. Akhirnya ketemu lah 'tusukan rahasianya' :). Benar-benar trial and error deh. Udah gitu waktu udah jadi dasar tasnya baru nyadar kalo benangnya kekecilan. Kan di pola ditulis pake hook 5 mm, dalam pikiranku hook no 5. Dan waktu ngambil hook 5 mm juga gak mikir-mikir lagi. Jadi pake benang Softy Cotton gendut yang 5 ply. Mau bikin dari awal kagok rasanya. Lain kali aja bikin lagi *alesan*.
Pengalaman pertama bikin tunisian menyenangkan ..bin penasaran. Tapi puas dengan hasilnya walopun ini butuh verifikasi lagi dari Mbak Thata yang bikin pola. Setelah jadi tasnya cukup buat Talaa :D. Mau ke pasar nduk?

Merajut baru aku kenal waktu kuliah sekitar tahun 1998. Diawali dari seorang teman yang menerima pesanan tas rajut dari nilon, kadang dia merajut di sela-sela pergantian jam kuliah. Lama-lama karena tiap hari "dikomporin" akhirnya pengen juga bisa merajut. Bikin chain, single crochet, double crochet, bikin dasar tas, pokoknya yang dasar sekali. Dulu belajarnya pake benang kasur yang kasar itu. Cuek beibeh pokoknya belajar. Aku merajut dimana aja, ya waktu nunggu angkot, di kosan, di kampus. Proyek pertama ya ngikut gurunya yaitu bikin tas. Tugas kuliahyangbanyak akhirnya bikin hobi satu ini gak kepegang lagi sampai tahun 2003 pas hamil anak pertama nemu buku rajutan punya mamah. Langsung nyetrum deh mau bikin lagi. Kali ini proyeknya bikin tempat HP dan doily. Tapi tetap aja belum ngeh gimana cara bikin produk yang bagus karena kebanyakan ngarang aja dan gak dihitung. Jadi ada tempat HP yang mletat mletot :D. Sempat vakum lagi beberapa tahun sampai akhirnya waktu hamil anak ketiga (yang kedua gugur) tahun 2007 aku nemu buku Rajutan untuk Pemula-nya mbak Thata Pang. Mulai saat itu sampai sekarang lumayan konsisten bikin-bikinnya :). Walopun kadang gak sempat karena kerjaan ibu RT @_@. Selain itu aku menemukan milis yang benar-benar mendukung hobi ini. Wah, senangnya dari hobi bisa ketemu teman-teman baru di Indonesia dan mancanegara. Ini beberapa foto karya jaman dulu. Masih proses belajar sampai sekarang jadi mohon dimaklumi kalo kurang rapi.

Membuat slipper memang bikin ketagihan. Karena cepat dan hasilnya lumayan menurutku :)
Kali ini warnanya sembur marah dan putih. Bisa dipakai untuk ukuran kaki 40-41 karena memakai hook 10. Selanjutnya coba-coba juga bikin gelang dari rayon viscose. Selamat menikmati ....:D

Ini kado yang terlambat buat Aurel, keponakan cantik dari sahabatku. Mamanya request jaket atau bolero buat dia. Bikinnya sambil disambi momong..maklum si kecil gak bisa ditinggal. Lumayan 4 harian udah kelar. Ukurannya untuk bayi 1 tahun, pola dari buku Ondori. Bahan benang katun sembur softone. Alhamdulillah mamanya cocok sama hasilnya :)

Hari minggu kemarin kami sekeluarga ikutan acaranya Maba Mala Klasman 2009.. aku pikir jaraknya dekat soalnya cuma lurus aja dari Badut ke arah Dau.. Ternyata oh ternyata jauh juga yah. Jalannya naiiiiik terus. Kira-kira 20 menit sampai juga di Bumi Perkemahan Bedengan Dau. Wah..ada sungai bening.Senang sekali pokoknya walopun pulangnya pantat panas he..he,,,

The pattern is awesome, so i started to make this blanket. I used to be very patient to attach one by one small granny to made it. I took the pattern from Thata Pang's second book. Materials : Indonesian cotton thread .I was curious with the triangle granny in this pattern...I love it!!

Baso Tahu a.k.a Siomay

Baso tahu untuk orang Bandung pasti udah akrab banget. Tiap hari gerobak tukang baso tahu lewat depan rumah dengan tok-tok khasnya. Makanan dari campuran ikan tengiri dan tepung terigu yang dilengkapi kentang rebus, kol, pare dan tahu trus disiram saus kacang ini emang bikin perut langsung menjerit minta diisi.

Di Malang, baso tahu ini namanya siomay. Awalnya sih disebut siomay Jakarta tapi lama-lama juga ada yang jual dengan nama siomay Bandung. Pertama kali nyoba di Malang rasa saus kacangnya amburadul soalnya malah mirip saus gado-gado yang encer. Harusnya kan teksturnya gak halus banget tapi agak kasar. Makin kesini karena makin banyak yang jual ya lumayan lah agak cocok walopun belum pas banget di lidah. Penjual siomay Bandung sekat rumah yang paling enak dan cocok di lidah namanya "Siomay Bandung Mang Ecep". Rasa ikannya lumayan kerasa dan sausnya lumayan deh..

Jadi...... senang sekali wakt lihat ada siomay dan baso tahu ikan HOKI mangkal di pinggir jalan.Yup, hari ini setelah silaturrohim ke rumah mantan ibu kos di Kedawung aku pulang lewat jalan coklat, mendadak aku lihat ada gerobak di pinggir jalan ada tulisan HOKI langsung deh ngerem dan balik. Pas jalan kesitu ditanya sama penjualnya mau beli apa siomay ato batagor? aku jawab baso tahu he...he.. Si penjualnya senyum aja da emang orang Bandung.. Aku bilang udah lama nyari baso tahu HOKI..

Setiap ke Bandung , kira-kira udah 3 kali, udah direncanakan mau beli baso tahu HOKI. tapi..... mesti aja ada sesuatu yang bikin gak bisa beli. Yang terakhir tahun 2006, mau beli eh...udah naik angkot, gak jadi lagi soalnya udah mau pulang..

Dan rasanya.............EMANG ENAK. Rasa ikannya kerasa banget dan bumbu saus kacang yah inilah yang kucaro he.he.. mana dapat ekstra 1 lagi..Asyiiiiiik bisa buat langganan ah. Ngidam bertahun-tahun nih :D

Sabar

Hari berjalan seperti biasa penuh rutinitas. Bangun pagi, mandikan anak2 (ayahnya ding yang mandiin), menyiapkan sarapan, menyuapi dll. Begitu dan begitu... Kita jadi seperti robot yang terprogram. Menurut buku yang aku baca, kebiasaan bisa kita rubah dalam waktu 21 hari. So.. kita harus bisa merubah satu kebiasaan yang sepertinya jelek bertahap dalam 21 hari.
Ada satu kebiasaan yang harus aku rubah... Gampang marah.. wah kalo udah kesundut kayaknya perlu waktu agak lama untuk hilang. Walopun sama anak sendiri. Udah qodar dari Yang Diatas kalo anakku yang pertama punya sifat persiiiiss ibunya. Kalo menurut Florence Littauer : Koleris Plegmatis. Dalam hal-hal tertentu yangberhubungan dengan orang banyak, aku cenderung menarik diri, liat2 situasi. Tapiiii dalam situasi tertentu aku bisa ngotot dan gak mau kalah. Ini yang kadang-kadang bikin aku sama si anak jadi bengkerengan. Sabar bu...
Harusnya bisa sabar dong. Lha wong dia masih anak kecil. Harusnya aku yang bisa lebih mengerti dia. Dia bisa ngotot kayak gitu mungkin liat aku sehari-hari juga. Iya gak? Gaya marahnya aja sama..
Kalo aku lagi berpikir jernih, malu juga ya liat sifatku yang plek banget di anak itu. Tapi kalo hawa marah menyergap kayaknya udah gak mikir panjang deh..
Banyak istighfar.. setan-setan mengelilingi kita setiap hari, berusaha menyelinap di hati kita..
Belajar sabar emang susah, tapi aku coba ah 21 hari ke depan . Kalo udah bisa Alhamdulillah. Semoga aku jadi manusia yang lebih berguana untuk semua.. Amiin

Sebenarnya udah lama pengen belajar bikin blog di blogger, tapi baru kesampaian sekarang. Sekalian belajar menulis seuatu yang ada di pikiran. Daripada pikiran sumpek gak ada pelampiasannya. Juga karena aku enang liat2 blog punya teman-teman, asyik-asyik kalo cerita. Adaa... aja yang diceritain.
Mmmm.. apa lagi ya.. Nanti aku pikir-pikir lagi mau nulis apa. Soalnya Talaa lagi sakit sih. Jadi bikin blog ini juga nyuri-nyuri waktu tidurnya Talaa. Semoga Talaa cepat sembuh.
Oh ya.. aku juga masih punya PR bikin square dari Dinamic Crochet. Semoga finish tepat waktu.
